Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) is also known under the frequently used brand names such as Perbunan, BUNA-N and Hycar. This synthetic rubber is very well-suited for use with oils, greases, lubricants, hydrocarbons and a number of diluted acids. NBR rubber can be used up to 100 degrees Celsius and has good mechanical properties, especially concerning strength and wear and tear.
