Polyurethane elastomers have outstanding abrasion resistance at moderate temperatures. It has very high tensile strength, tear strength and load bearing capabilities. It has resistance to oils, certain solvents, greases, ozone, sunlight and weather. Resistance to acids and alkalies is poor. Temperature range -30°C to + 80°C.

PU rubber Rubberstock supplies polyurethane (Vulkollan) in sheets and in all possible products and shapes that can be cut from sheeting. The material is also commonly referred to as PU, but is also known under the brand name Vulkollan.
Vulkollan rubber Polyurethane (Vulkollan) can be described as a flexible elastomer - according to the hardness that you select - and has many potential uses since the material has many positive properties. Indeed, it combines the good mechanical properties of plastic with the elasticity of rubber. From a technical point of view, polyurethane actually offers more possibilities than rubber or other plastics.
The material has excellent resistance to wear and tear, as well as high tensile and compression strength. Even the harder type (90 Shore) has great elasticity. The material also has good resistance to mineral oils, petrol, lubricating greases and diluted acids and alkalis.
